While sending events to your Snowplow collector, whether on production or testing, you may see an XML Parsing Error in the console. This error doesn't impact event delivery.
Confirm the error
You can verify the error by viewing your browser's Developer Console. In the Console tab, look for errors highlighted with a red background matching the below format.
XML Parsing Error: syntax error Location: <endpoint> Line Number 1, Column 1: <path>:1:1
Upgrade the Collector
This error is a known issue present in Collector versions prior to v3.2.1.
To resolve it, upgrade the Collector to minimum v3.2.1.
